Anna was an absolute joy and made me and my groom feel comfortable and incredibly amazing on our wedding day. We had both our engagement shoot and wedding day photos by her. I appreciate how she made the executive decision to switch my original idea of having beach photos before the wedding ceremony to taking them at the hotel to save time. I also wanted to have the sparklers shot and she made sure it was perfect by having us run through it one more time. She had everything we asked for crossed off her list and I was impressed by her professionalism. Three months later, our custom photo book came and it was perfect. She was warm, respected our boundaries,, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was captured perfectly. She worked with the videographer, stayed late, and even sent us some polaroids before the sneak peeks and full gallery. Amidst all the vendors for our big day we found Anna to be the most crucial, as she is on the clock, has a lengthy list of family/friends photos to check off, and is trying to capture candids and moments that are impossible to fake, especially since neither of us have ever done a shoot before.
There are so many intangibles in working with a photographer that go beyond the quote and contract, but we found Anna to have exceeded them all! We would be most honored to work with her again in the near future!

Anna is a wonderful and amazing photographer. My husband and I were a little awkward during our engagement shoot and she just made it so fun and comfortable! She guided us throughout the entire shoot and accommodated everything we wanted. She was also our wedding photographer. She worked so well with all of our vendors and was such a gem. She accommodated all of our and our family's requests. She was also very thoughtful about all the details. She worked with us pre-wedding to get the agenda organized so that we can make sure to get the shots we wanted, she sent us our wedding album with such thoughtful designs, and she also gave us polaroid of our sneak peek shots on the night of our wedding! Overall, we enjoyed working with her and loved having her as our photographer. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I was immediately drawn to the photo's natural/polished look and the genuine enjoyment on the couple's faces. After phone interviews with about 5-6 photographers I was immediately at ease with Anna. She was incredibly prepared for our conversation, asked thoughtful questions, and seemed genuinely excited at the opportunity to work with us. It was an easy yes after that call! The engagement session was more fun than we could have imagined. She gave great direction and was really playful. It was a great experience to warm us up for the big day.
Overall you will find that Anna's warmth feels like a friend and with her organization and confidence you know you're with a pro. She made the whole experience feel unique and special even though she does this regularly. I would definitely choose her again!

"ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS,
MOST BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES"
When you receive your proposal (which includes your invoice + contract) you will be able to log on to a secure portal to sign the contract and make the first payment online, which is a non-refundable retainer fee to hold and reserve your date. Depending on how far out your date is, 30% or 50% of the total package will be due upfront as a non-refundable retainer to reserve us for your wedding date. By doing so, this means we will not book any other events on this date and are solely reserved just for you.
Payments can be split into two or three payments; for example, the next payment would be due mid-way through your project, and the final amount due 30 days before your event.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
Yes, I do! During our planning phase, please let me know if your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance (sometimes also called a COI), and I would be happy to send that over to your wedding planner or venue. We request that you give us at least 3-6 months notice for this, so we can ensure a timely delivery.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Definitely! I love traveling so much and will hop on a plane for you like yesterday ;)! Our wedding collections are inclusive of travel of up to 200 miles round trip from Pleasant Hill, California.
If you're set on a wedding venue or elopement location that is outside of that radius, make sure to include that in your inquiry form. We typically account for the cost of a +2 night stay, gas, car rental and/or airfare.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
For weddings + elopements, you can expect about 40 to 80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Turnaround time varies by season. Typically for weddings, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 8-12 weeks after your wedding.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET AND WHEN WILL WE GET THEM?
If your wedding gets cancelled by force majeure, we can discuss the possibility of transferring your retainer to reschedule a new date upon availability. A signed reschedule contract is required to confirm your new date, along with a reschedule fee of $500. All payments made up to that point will then transfer over to the new contract and date.
WHAT IF WE NEED TO POSTPONE OR CANCEL?
Great question! I do not release RAW or unedited files. Part of what you hire a professional photographer to do is to capture and edit these photos in a specific style. The RAW files are not the finished project and are not representative of our work.
Your contract will state that the final output of your photos will be in high-resolution JPEG format, and we have taken the utmost care to ensure the photos delivered are of the highest quality and are consistent with the styled we are hired for :).
WILL YOU GIVE US ALL THE RAW UNEDITED FILES?
Don’t worry, in the wise words of Sonny + Cher, “I got you babe!!” I’m all about channeling your inner model, and trust me - it is there! I’ll guide you through a good mix of fun promptings to get you moving, laughing, and dancing around so we get all those sweet candids, romantic kisses, and we'll mix in a few traditional poses just for the heck of it. You can count on me to give you all the direction you need throughout the entire session, guiding you through and encouraging you along the way!
